The European market for printing consumables continues to be one of the most competitive markets in the world. It has to contend with high environmental standards over single use plastics and recycling. Remanufacturers have claimed the high ground with reused, non-infringing quality products and claim new build compatible cartridges – or NBCs – just don’t meet the standards.

Industry icon Steve Weedon claims to have a new cartridge solution that is set to sizzle. He says the Pelikan bio-based toner cartridge ticks all the boxes: the environment, its patent free, can be remanufactured many times and is at OEM standard for quality and yield. It also happens to be an NBC.
